About Us
Objectives:
UK Chapter of the Alumni Association will act as a forum for all the ex-students of Jadavpur University to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the alma-mater and to work on charitable social causes in-line with the moto of the university and the parent organization. The association is a non-political and non-religious organisation dedicated to the welfare of the association members, ex-students and associates of the university and society at large.

To foster a friendly relationship amongst the alumni and to extend support to the university (National Council of Education and Jadavpur University) and its associates.
2.
To keep the UK alumni in touch with the parent association at the Jadavpur University campus and other affiliated alumni associations globally to render support to parent association’s endeavour and objectives.
3.
To organise and develop the activities of the members on matters such as social, economic, educational and practical benevolence.
4.
To render financial support for student scholarships via the Parent Association on the basis of merit and means. The selection of the awardees will be by a committee entrusted by the parent association.
5.
To contribute (financial or voluntary effort) to social causes with the consent of majority of executive committee members.
